i reckon slimboy and morph are behind it all---with Simon's hand up their asses pulling the strings.
i have a document containing a list of all congregations in the uk.
periodically i go through the links and check to see if they're still registered as charities and if the location of the congregation is the same.. instead of posting a large list of changes all at once, i will be adding each change that i find in a new reply to this thread.. please check back here periodically.. truthseeker.

once there were 7 or 8 kingdumb halls here on the Isle of Wight...now just 3 that i am aware of.
let's say an aunt or uncle dies.
.
let's say you barely knew them.. let's say their memorial service was held at the kingdom hall.. let's say if you attend, you have to deal with shunning from family and jws, and you are forced listen to them present their paradise promotional materials, and the dead person's "earthly hope™", and let's face it ... the heeby-jeebies of having to be in a kingdom hall again.. would you put yourself through it?
my jw dad died in jan 2016. he was 94. he and i got baptised together ( i was 14) i left the cult in my 20's. he and i remained close..he never shunned me. his last 3 years he lived in a care home. i visited him every other day. i trimmed his hair and his nails. i shaved him.
occasional elder visits to him dwindled and stopped. his former daughter in law ( my ex ); and my daughter--who lived in the same house...never went near him. they lived less than a mile away. i guess they shunned him because of his association with me.
he was one of the good guys. he cared for my mum for years after she had a severe stroke. she died in 1998. everybody liked my dad. i miss him.
after he died i arranged a simple non religious funeral. a few care home staff attended. i was supported by 2 ex jw friends that live near me and ive known for several years.
unfortunately i forgot to notify the congregation, so no dubs attended. my bad.
i was commenting on another thread about how local kh attendance is down.
memorial attendance was also way down and the circuit assembly had hundreds less people than what is typical.
my jw family has even mentioned it.
maybe the big brothers at warwick will lovingly make it all an internet religion. After all---bums on seats in kingdom halls dont really bring in much money. so--sell all the halls--send all the money to the society. then the faithfull few can log in to every cyber-meeting...no need to travel in the bad weather over great distances each week.
assembLIES are a different matter. how exciting! maybe a couple of times a year--a big get together---each one attending paying ££$$ kerching to cover the costs. that is--if there are any followers left.

montana jury awards two women $35m in sex abuse lawsuit against jehovah's witnesses .
a jury in northwestern montana awarded two women $35 million wednesday in their lawsuit against the local jehovah’s witnesses congregation and its worldwide headquarters.. .
All the stalwart JWs still sitting there (who have two brain cells left to rub together) have to be absolutely nauseous from it all.
nope...they know its all just apostate lies. just proves the end is even closer than before.
stan's recent post about the apostasy movie reminded me that i had watched it last month, so i thought i'd write a review.
please note this will probably contain some spoilers so if you care about that sort of thing hold off on reading this.. first i want to say that this is probably one of the most if not the most accurate and reasonable cinematic portrayals of jws.
however here is a list of little inaccuracies: an outdated view that preaching to all the world can 'make' the end come, jesus briefly portrayed with long hair, judicial reinstatement meetings being called "guidance meetings", a normal weekly public talk being introduced as "the first in a series of talks he's prepared for us", applause at the end of a local needs part, and a jw saying of god "you need to earn his love, it's conditional" ( i know this is basically true in practice but they'd rarely say it out loud).
The film has now been taken off you tube, and I guess my post with the link has been erased.
i just wanted to share with you the thoughts that i've had lately.. my plan was to get a job, become independent and then leaving the org throughout this year 2018. i'm going to achieve the first step in a matter of weeks, the second one soon afterwards but maybe i will wait a little longer for the last one.. one year ago a friend of mine was reinstated.
we weren't very close friends back then, although we got along well.
but, since no many jws in my town want to hang out with him (because of his being a former disfellowshipped), we started to talk and go out more often and in a matter of half a year we've become very close friends, like brothers.
hey Paradiseseeker ( fat chance ..lol)....youre just the kind of young dub we need in the kingdumb hall. you--and your mates. partying---boozing---what else do you get up to ? ( nothing i didnt get up to ! )
priveleges ? pioneering ? servants ?....err--no.
keep up the good work.
will you be joining the celebrations on saturday 22nd september, 2018?.
.
check the usual exjw channels for info....
